The story behind the piece

Painting water that obeys God was a humbling thing. Mark and our in-house artists studied the geography of the Red Sea crossing, and the light and the scale and the way walls of water might catch the dawn. The piece took many prayerful passes, each one asking that it would carry hope to someone standing at their own impassable place. The goal was never spectacle for its own sake. It was to bring the God who makes a way into the home of anyone who needs one.

Wrapped vs. framed canvas

Wrapped canvas — Our gallery wrap stretches the artwork over 1.5" solid wood bars, with the image flowing cleanly over the edges. It arrives ready to hang: wire, protective bumpers, and finished black backing included. Nothing else needed.

Framed canvas — Our floating frames are crafted from solid wood and set the canvas just inside, so it appears to float within the frame. Choose from black, white, silver, gold, natural wood, oak, or espresso to suit your space.

Every piece is made to order, just for you, and arrives within 5–8 business days. Free shipping within the U.S. International orders may be subject to duties and taxes, collected at checkout.
