The story behind the piece

We made this piece for anyone who has ever felt too far gone. We kept returning to the open invitation in Matthew 11, come unto me, all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. He did not say come once you have it together. He said come, all of you. Aren't we all a little like the children who only want to run into his arms? Each pass to create this piece was made with prayer, and with tearful sessions as it came to be. The intention was always to remind its viewers of one thing. He will love you, no matter what, and nothing you could ever do places you outside his reach.
