The story behind the piece

We made this piece to hold a promise. We kept returning to Genesis 9, to the bow God set in the clouds after the flood as the sign of a covenant he would never forget. We love that the same sky which held the storm now holds the promise. Each pass to create this piece was made with prayer, asking that the light returning after the storm would feel like faithfulness made visible. The intention was to remind its viewers that storms still come, but God's promises do not change with the weather. After every storm, he remains faithful, and his covenant endures through every generation.
